All questionsWhat does the Essential airport fare include?
A pre-booked private Essential ride between a Base-area address and Halifax Stanfield: $60 before HST, or $55 with the $5 Pay Online saving. Other areas add a zone charge, shown before you book.
What is a zone charge?
Airport fares are for the Base area. Other communities add a zone charge, from +$10 to +$80, based on your address. You see it as soon as you enter your address, and communities not listed are priced by quote. Service Areas
How far ahead can I book?
Up to 180 days ahead online. For airport rides, 12 hours or more is recommended, and areas +$25 and above need 24 hours. Shorter-notice requests are confirmed if a driver is available.
What if my flight is delayed?
Your confirmed pickup moves later at no charge. If the delay is more than 6 hours or into the next day, we re-confirm your ride. If we can't make the new time, you choose a free reschedule or a full refund.
Can I track my driver?
Yes. A live tracking link arrives once your driver is on the way, along with their vehicle and plate details.
When is my card charged?
Pay Online saves your card securely; nothing is charged when you book. The fare is charged 10 minutes after your ride begins. Or pay by tap, debit or credit in the vehicle.
Is there a cancellation fee?
Airport rides are free to cancel 12 or more hours before pickup, 25% from 2 to 12 hours, and 50% under 2 hours or for a no-show. Long-distance rides are free 24 or more hours before. Full details
